A small editorial desk with one sober purpose.
Agent Liability Europe is an independent publication on the operator provisions of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act and the liability that follows them. It exists to make the text legible, the dates visible and the liability structure citable. It publishes analysis, links to the source material, and points to the bodies that carry the functions it does not.
Write to the editors.
We answer correspondence from supervisors, academics, operators and the press. Questions about the publication, suggestions for entries and corrections are welcome.
We do not give legal advice and we do not accept paid placements. To report an error, name the page and the statement; it will be checked at source and, if wrong, logged on the corrections page.
Why the desk exists.
The European Union has written the most detailed instrument in the world for the governance of artificial intelligence. Most organisations running AI agents inside the single market have not yet read its operator provisions. The gap between the text and the practice is where risk gathers, and it is where this desk works.
Sourced
Every claim points to an article, a recital, a guidance note or a published opinion, read at the body that issued it.
Dated
Entries are dated and revised in place. When a supervisor issues new guidance, the revision is logged.
Plain
The language is deliberately plain, the scope deliberately narrow and the tone deliberately quiet.
Published by Future Proof Intelligence.
This publication is produced and maintained by Future Proof Intelligence, an EU based initiative working on AI governance, operator readiness and the practical compliance work that the AI Act requires. Future Proof Intelligence does not accept paid placements here, does not sell advertising, and does not let commercial partners influence editorial decisions.
It is not a law firm, a certification body, a regulator or an insurance broker. For certification and insurance, the sister sites listed at the foot of this page carry that work. How we decide what to cover is set out in the editorial standards.
